Training

Sub Rosa provides training staff who are highly qualified in the field of adult education. Our trainers are able to offer a wealth of experience, both in terms of operating at the highest level of criminality and also in delivering practical skill and theoretical training. The positive value of the combination of these factors is that, by being able to pass on their knowledge and experience, our trainers are highly credible and readily hold the confidence of their students.

We are able to offer the following training packages, tailored as necessary to suit the clients’ operational needs:

  • Foot surveillance
  • Mobile surveillance
  • Urban observation posts
  • Defensive Surveillance
  • Covert imagery
  • Technical surveillance
  • Operational planning
  • Surveillance log keeping
  • Covert legislation (RIPA, Police Act, ECHR, Data Protection Act, CPIA, etc)
  • Overt investigation techniques and applicable legislation
  • Intelligence analysis
  • Conflict management
  • Investigative (PEACE) Interviewing
  • Media liaison

The above list is by no means exhaustive. We are pleased to offer a complete package which includes a bespoke course design service and training in any subject appropriate to the client requirement. Our training delivery is facilitative, practically based and can be delivered either assessed on individual competency, or on an attendance only basis.

The training provided to a particular client by Sub Rosa recently featured in an inspection by the Office of Surveillance Commissioners (OSC) and was subject of highly positive comment by them in their concluding report. Training has also been provided to a large number of police officers from across the UK including the Metropolitan Police, The Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) and the various counter terrorism units currently in operation.
